I created this video for a journalism class to share information about a local restaurant that my family likes to visit. This highlights my organizational ability as I structured the photos to match what the interviewees are discussing. Additionally, I think it demonstrates my ability to gather the right information from others and transform it into an effective story that is digestible for all audience types. It also shows my creative side through the pictures I captured.
This video captures the importance of insurance and demonstrates the positive work environment at Arnold Insurance Agency. I created this video to add to a website I made for the agency. Even though the audio doesn't contain the questions I asked, I think my communication skills are demonstrated through their comfortability on camera. My conversational tone helped them remain relaxed and provide thoughtful answers. My attention to detail is evident through how I pieced their interview clips together and created the narrative for the video.

This is an article I wrote during a reporting, writing, and editing class. It demonstrated my ability to effective communicate information in writing. This article also displays my organizational skills as I was intentional with the placement of photos and how the paragraphs were structured around them. As a journalism student, I have a lot of experience talking to people I don't know and asking for interviews. This has helped me know what questions to ask and to gather all the necessary information.
