ABOUT ME

I am a communication major with an emphasis in journalism at Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). My academic journey has prepared me for success in the professional world as I've become an effective communicator, stronger at writing, and a solid critical thinker that allows me to find multiple approaches to solving a problem. My professional experience has reinforced these skills as I collaborate with team members on a daily basis, organize files, and manage shipping and receiving for the ITS department at PFW. I've also learned how to maintain a balance between friendliness and professionalism through my experiences at CollegeTV and a camp counselor with Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana (GSNIM).

Outside of work, I spend majority of my time with friends and family. I love being able to share my experiences, hear about theirs, and create new memories. I also like to spend time working on my hobbies. I like to crochet, and I've recently learned how to knit. Most of my finished projects are blankets and Christmas stockings.

Photos from Camp Summer '25

I spent a summer as a camp counselor for Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana. This experience taught me how to work with various ages and personality types. It also strengthened my critical thinking skills by helping me come up with solutions quickly when plans shifted due to weather or being unable to do an activity. It was a lot of fun being able to work with the kids and watch their excitement every time they learned a new skill.
